Sustainability

Our Ethos

When it comes to wardrobe staples, you want basics that you can rely on season after season. When creating our bodysuits, we wanted to design the ultimate wardrobe go to without any compromise on comfort or style. Using high quality materials, our bodysuits are made to last, Ideal for layering, or simply pairing with any bottoms. They are the perfect season-less garment.

TENCEL™ is a fabric created from wood pulp. It is transformed into cellulosic fibres using a process called closed loop production. During the production process it absorbs moisture far more efficiently than most fabrics, meaning it has lower environmental impacts. It is beautifully soft and breathable and has even been certified as biodegradable, so its life span is completely circular.

We only use recycled materials or those that are produced from natural fibres. These are sourced from our fabric mills in Portugal who also share our ethos and optimise solutions for high performance nature based textiles. They use at least 90% of sustainable materials including Tencel and new generation cotton, all supported with brand or supplier certifications.

They are transparent when it come to their commitments and hold the following business and product certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, NP 4457 and STeP by OEKO-TEX®,  GOTS, OCS, GRS, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, or BLUESIGN®.

We are very proud to say our garments are made right here in London. When searching for our manufacturer we wanted to ensure we were partnering with a factory who share our ethos for creating premium clothing that does not have a negative impact on the environment.

Some of their practises are:

- 100% zero waste policy during production - Off cuts are regenerated into sports equipment and carpet underlay

- Using only biodegradable and eco friendly packaging

- Exclusively using a go green courier service, reducing carbon foot print

- Using energy saving motors (80-90% energy saving to traditional clutch motors)

- Partnering with suppliers who work ethically and using local where possible.

- Using careful design decisions to ensure garments are made to last.

- Exceeding the industry requirements with world class working conditions

- Embracing the slow fashion movement

- SMETA certified

We strive to create high quality garments that are made in the right way. By working closely with our factories we are on the right path to create a more sustainable future for the fashion industry, and hope to inspire others to do the same.
